Models

Recoder works with any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, such as OpenRouter, vLLM or DashScope. You can also sign in with ChatGPT in Settings and use your ChatGPT plan.

Settings

Add models in Settings, then pick two. The Review model runs the reviewers, consolidates the findings and answers in chat. The second, Subagents and verifiers, answers the questions reviewers hand off and checks each finding. Leave it unset to use the Review model for both. Models added here take priority over the variables below.

The API key can be left empty for local servers that don't need one. These are only used when no models are added in Settings, and every part of the review uses this one model.

Reasoning effort

The model picker lists the effort levels the chosen model supports.
